Tulum Mexican Restaurant and Grill: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Plover, WI

I LOVE this place. I recently moved and I seriously compare every place I try to Tulumn and nothing ever compares. Our food was always delicious. Every server here is so good and personable. It’s usually busy but our food always comes out very quickly. The drinks are amazing. I came here weekly during my pregnancy it was all I craved. Once we had our daughter we continued to come here and they were always so sweet to her and accommodating. Once our daughter was crying and one of the employees came and asked me if she could hold her while we finished eating. Anytime we visit the area I always come here!!

Great place! I wanted to try the birria tacos as I've just discovered them lol. Yummy!! They are spicy I had mine plain as I'm a celiacs. I did get cross contaminated after eating but I knew that was a possibility. Highly recommend!! Great atmosphere too

Feels like I’m eating in the authentic location. Good music. Good lighting. Friendly employees. Food was hot and fresh. Great menu with too many items. Would choose to get a cheese dip instead of the bland salsa. But the chips were good

We stopped in a little later in the evening so the restaurant was fairly quiet. We were welcomed and seated promptly. The chips were hot and fresh, best we've had in years. The menu was so extensive that it was difficult to choose. We selected carnitas and jalisco salad. Both were outstanding. The staff was personable and friendly. They checked on us multiple times without being intrusive. We left having thoroughly enjoyed the experience and having a new favorite place for Mexican food.

Wow! We didn't know this place was here and it's so close to home- we found a new favorite spot! This is such a busy and popular place and the energy was great- we were seated immediately and chips and salsa brought immediately. Our server was excellent and friendly. Fair warning- a large margarita is actually large!! Only one needed! Food options and varieties were great- we want to come back and explore the menu. What we loved about our food is the generous portions of steak, chicken, and shrimp. Rice was cooked perfectly, guac was super fresh with aromatic cilantro, onions, and tomatoes to give the food great flavor and texture. Big and attractive portions for the money. There was a party celebrating, families with kids, and solo diners here, as well as a smaller bar with top shelf tequila (Don Julio) and colorful and vibrant decorations and energy. Even though this place was extremely popular in a Monday night, they had staffing (2 hosts) and plenty of seating (including outdoors) and professional waitstaff that were moving fast tonmake everything happen. Kudos to the kitchen too for beautiful presentation and perfectly cooked steaks. This is the best local spot for all Mexican foods!

The fundida fajitas were amazing! The salsa that comes pre-meal with the chips is also great. I thought the chips were not the greatest, but I still ate a ton of them. It was a great salsa delivery device.

It’s difficult sometimes to find a Mexican restaurant that stands out. Tulum certainly does. Every thing I had here tasted excellent. From the fajitas, the salsas, the queso dip, and the margaritas were incredible. The icing to the cake of this whole experience was how fantastic our server was. She was attentive, helpful, and just damn good at her job. For great food and a good environment come here you won’t regret it.

Great spot to pick up some great Mexican food. Outstanding service. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly faces working there. Would love to stop again sometime.
